Rust Platform for Securing Raspberry Pi
Measured boot for Linux SBCs, with custom U-boot chaining to TPM 2.0 (SLB9670). Use cases range from sealing keys and blobs for AI agents on isolated hardware, to simply safe surfing on a cyberdeck.
LED Matrix Dashboard
Bridge Server for Pixel Display
Live updates from public access APIs are rendered into 32x32 pixel animations. These are sent over bluetooth via the reverse-engineered protocol of this LED panel from Temu. The server also provides REST endpoints and a web interface.

Market Research and Investment Agent
This is an automated routine that facilitates my personal investment activity. Daily scans of price charts, news, and public sentiment are distilled into a dynamic corpus, which informs self-improving strategies as they undergo backtesting and paper trading. Real-capital trading is executed via live exchange integrations and protected by strict boundaries, including isolated environments, human authentication for strategy promotion, credential-blind agents, and live notifications for monitoring.
Computer Peripheral Explorations
These are early prototypes for some hardware concepts: a terminal emulator program for e-ink displays, and a joystick-key-combo as a mouse.
3D-Printed Circuit Board
A cheap and domestic solution for fabricating one-off PCBs. This is a simple DC motor controller made from an Arduino Nano and an H-bridge driver, soldered to copper foil traces on PLA.

This product is a milestone in premium and specialized consumer hardware. I'm quite proud of what we shipped and am really glad to have worked with so many intelligent and creative people. I led the embedded app graphics and frontend for launch, and was also the device software team lead for several major releases and migrations for the NLT line including NLT in Europe.

My take on the task organizer, but with a TUI twist. A foray in hyper-minimalism to the max, this comes with procedural animations of ASCII/unicode art and G Calendar + Tasks integration!
My Phone Case
I've been carrying around and slowly iterating on this invention of mine for a few years now. The main feature is a magnetic hinge that allows for a detachable and reversible cover. Aside from offering protection and privacy, the cover is also a wallet and a phone stand.

Google Nest
Thermostat Embedded Software
I'll always have a soft spot for my first NPI. Officially named "Nest Thermostat", this was the first energy product after the acquisition. I played a big role in the launch and made this the first IoT device on the market to support Matter. I was also a major contributor to a wide variety of other releases and in-house solutions.
Climate Control for Plants
This was my first PCB: a simple Raspberry Pi HAT for monitoring soil conditions. Along with temperature and moisture sensors, this also provides automatic watering, ventilation, and heating for seed germination.

Genetic algorithms for timbre synthesis
Fourier transforms of audio samples are decomposed and stochastically recombined into uniquely textured sounds, like hybrid instruments and fat 808s.
Single camera touch detection
The human finger blanch response is used as a contact signal. With a custom-trained CNN and object tracking, we can turn any surface into a trackpad with only one camera view.

I explored reconstructing 3D models from 2D images. The nontrivial surface from the sculpture "Duality" by Charles Perry is faithfully reproduced here.
2D material fabrication for optoelectronics
While studying solid state physics, I worked in a lab assembling atomically thin structures. One device I helped make was used to demonstrate novel quantum states of matter.

I enjoy traveling and the outdoors just as much as hacking in my garage. Love my family, happily married and as of writing just had our first kid!
